DREAM IT! SPEAK IT! LIVE IT!
Sharon was born on the small island of Jamaica, West Indies, a country under the British influence; hence why she loves tea.
At the tender age of 5, Ms. Levy and her family migrated to the United States for a better life. Although they had a comfortable life back home, her parents felt life in the U.S. would be better for their children. Her mom's first job was working as a caregiver for a celebrity family, then as a key punch operator for Paramount pictures. While working full-time and raising 3 children, Ms. Levy's mom attended college to become an RN. The family was extremely proud of her accomplishments. Ms. Levy says: "Mom and dad taught us to be respectful to others, believe in ourselves and to work hard." The traditional values taught by her parents are reflected in the workshops she creates for individuals today.
Ms. Levy remembers sitting around the dinner table with her family, where they had great conversations while sipping on tea.
Ms. Levy is passionate about bringing civility and humanity back into society. As Program Director, she creates social tea gatherings, empowering and engaging workshops where individuals come together to learn and celebrate with each other.
These programs are enriched by Ms. Levy’s certification in Tea Education by the Specialty Tea Institute (STI), a division of the Tea Association of the USA.
